Jeri L. Turley President / PrincipalJeri Turley is the President and a Principal of BCG Companies. She works closely with clients and their advisors throughout the wealth transfer process for high net worth individuals and families as well as executive benefit and succession planning for public and privately held companies. Jeri also coordinates and supervises the product design, underwriting and servicing efforts of other staff members. Jeri began her career with BCG Companies in 1995. She holds a BBA in International Business and Economics from James Madison University and is a registered representative of M Holdings Securities. Jeri is married and the proud mother of three active boys. In addition to time spent in her local community, Jeri enjoys spending time with her children, attending sporting events and reading. Veronica G. Bartges Director, First ImpressionsVeronica joined BCG Companies in September of 2010 and is the Director of First Impressions. Veronica is responsible for maintaining office operations and providing administrative support for the team. Veronica previously worked with Ajilon Professional Services as an Administrative Assistant for many of their clients. Veronica enjoys gardening, home-brewing, traveling, and surfing in her free time. Sheree N. Engle Senior AccountantSheree N. Engle is the Senior Accountant at BCG Companies and Executive Assistant to James P. Belk. She joined BCG in 2010. Sheree handles all aspects of the Accounting and Human Resource functions. Prior to joining BCG, she held a Senior Accountant position with Tascon Group, Inc., a local new home builder, for four years.
Prior to joining Tascon, Sheree worked as the Accounting Manager for Pembrooke Occupational Health, Inc. She started out as an Accounting Clerk, and worked her way up to managing the billing and cash receipts departments in four years. Sheree received a BS in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002. Sheree spends most of her free time doing home projects, gardening, and spending time with her friends and family. Sam Belk Plan Design AnalystSamuel C. Belk is a Plan Design Analyst at BCG Companies. He completed an internship in 2008 and joined the company in 2009. Sam received a BA in Finance from the College of William & Mary. He is a registered representative with M Holdings Securities and holds his Series 6 and 63 licenses. Sam enjoys golfing in his free time and volunteers with YRichmond, a nonprofit organization promoting the city of Richmond to interns and college students in hopes to grow the city’s population of young professionals. Ronald D. Wilkins, CLU PrincipalRonald D. Wilkins is a Principal of BCG Companies. Ron joined BCG Companies in 2008 bringing with him over 30 years of insurance experience. Prior to joining BCG Companies, Ron worked with Northwestern Mutual for 17 years and also as a partner with the Todd Organization. Ron specializes in corporate owned life insurance and executive benefits. Ron is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a BS in Business. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter and a registered representative with M Holdings Securities. His associations include membership in Top of the Table Producers and FEI (Financial Executives International). Ron is married with one son and three grandchildren. He enjoys playing golf in his spare time and is a member of Kinloch, CCV and Hermitage. Mary Beth West Director, UnderwritingMary Beth West is the Director, Underwriting at BCG Companies. She joined BCG Companies in 2007, bringing with her seven years of investment and insurance experience. Mary Beth is responsible for the management and coordination of all aspects of underwriting through policy delivery. She serves as the primary liaison with carriers, medical institutions, clients and their advisors to facilitate the medical and financial aspects of the underwriting process. Before joining BCG Companies, Mary Beth worked for Renaissance Financial in St. Louis, Missouri, providing Investment Advisory assistance to two producers and prior to that she held a variety of positions with American Century Investments in Kansas City, Missouri. Mary Beth received her BS in Sociology from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS, and an MBA from Baker University. She holds the Virginia Life and Health Insurance License. Mary Beth is married with two children and in her spare time enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and family. She is also actively involved in her church. James P. Belk Founder / PrincipalJames P. Belk is the Founder and a Principal of BCG Companies. Jim oversees BCG’s institutional Insurance Consulting services, specializing in corporate owned life insurance and executive benefits. Jim is a graduate of the University of Richmond with a BS in Finance. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and a registered representative of M Holdings Securities. His associations include membership in the Estate Planning Council of Richmond and the American Society of Chartered Life Underwriters and Chartered Financial Consultants. Jennifer L. Elphick Client Services AdministratorJennifer L. Elphick is the Client Services Administrator at BCG Companies. She joined BCG Companies in October 2010, bringing with her 2 years of insurance and investment experience. Prior to joining BCG, Jennifer worked as a Sales Support Specialist at Principal Financial Group. Jennifer received her BS in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys running and spending time with her friends and family. Eric J. Hieber PrincipalEric Hieber is a Principal for BCG Companies. In addition, he works directly with our clients and their advisors to design, implement and administer customized plans to meet their specific needs. Eric began his association with BCG Companies in 1993 after earning a BS in Mathematics from the University of Richmond. He is currently a registered representative of M Financial Holdings and is an active member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting. Eric is married and enjoys spending his free time working on home projects and golfing. He and his wife are actively involved with the Henrico Humane Society. Caroline E. Artley Director, Client ServicesCaroline joined BCG Companies in June of 2006 and is the Director of Client Services. Caroline is responsible for overseeing and managing Post Issue policy service and providing efficient and proactive service to our clients and advisors. Caroline previously worked for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network for 6 years before joining BCG Companies. She earned a BS in Business Management, with a minor in Marketing and Human Resources, from St. John Fisher College. She holds her Series 6 license as well as the Virginia Life and Health license. Caroline is married and enjoys playing volleyball and creating fine stationary and invitations for special events. |
